Belong Cho, M.D., is a member of Herbalife’s Nutrition Advisory Board, based in Korea, made up of leading experts around the world in the fields of nutrition and health who educate and train Herbalife independent distributors on the principles of nutrition, physical activity and healthy lifestyle.
A native of Seoul, Korea, Cho is a professor at Seoul National University College of Medicine (SNUMC) and practices family medicine. He is also a researcher at the college’s Center of Health Education, assistant dean for student affairs, and head of external relations.
Cho’s professional appointments include a seat on the general affairs committee of the Korean Academy of Family Medicine (KAFM), research director of the Korean Geriatrics Society, academic director of the Korea Society of Interventional Muscle and Soft Tissue Stimulation Therapy, and head of the SNU YunGun Public Health Clinic.
Cho received a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in public health from SNUMC. He received a Ph.D. in preventive medicine from the Korea University College of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at the Seoul National University Hospital. He spent one year at the University of Michigan as an exchange professor in 2002.
