Jesus Alvarez

Jesus Alvarez is a passionate and purpose-driven leader with more than three decades of experience in the direct selling industry. As managing director of Herbalife Mexico, he leads all aspects of the market – including business strategy, sales and marketing – with a focus on helping people live their best lives and advancing Herbalife’s vision as a leading health and wellness company, community and platform.

Jesus joined Herbalife in 2011 as director of ethics and compliance, leading efforts to uphold the company’s values and ensure trust across the Herbalife Independent Distributor network. His role quickly expanded to include corporate communications, government relations and scientific affairs. In 2013, he was promoted to senior director, adding social responsibility to his leadership portfolio. Most recently, he served as vice president of sales and events before being appointed to his current position.

Before Herbalife, Jesus held senior roles at top direct selling companies, including general manager of Amway Mexico, where he led a major transformation initiative that delivered strong, sustainable growth.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Jesus brings a global mindset, a deep understanding of the region and a commitment to building strong partnerships with Distributors and communities across Mexico.
