Quality at Herbalife

For all Herbalife products produced globally, Quality protocols and food safety requirements are standardized for all regions. The first priority is Quality. It is at the heart of everything we do. Our team of more than 300 Doctors and Scientists establishes and maintains those Global Quality standards to ensure product compliance. 


All products are manufactured from approved ingredients that are sourced from qualified vendors, across the globe and undergo rigorous qualification tests and review before being approved. 


In India, Herbalife products are manufactured in state-of-the-art facilities. Our products are monitored throughout the production cycle to ensure that high Quality and regulatory standards that Herbalife has established, are maintained. Those facilities are certified against cGMP standards from International bodies. The facilities and partner laboratories follow the international standards of HACCP, ISO22000, FSSC22000 ISO 17025 and/ or NSF (National Sanitary Foundation). The manufacturers are also required to be licensed by the Food Safety & Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) and abide by product safety requirements. 


The ingredients and products undergo multiple levels of review and analysis at different stages, thereby ensuring our commitment of Seed to Feed in Quality Control. Testing includes, but is not limited to, Physical, Chemical and Microbiological testing of ingredients and products, to ensure that they meet not only Herbalife Quality standards, but also government laws and regulations on Product Safety. Throughout development and manufacturing, our products are tested for quality, efficacy and safety to ensure that you know What is on the label is in the product, what is in the product is good for you and What ingredients are used meet rigorous Quality and Safety standards.
