Herbalife holds National Breakfast Week (PESAN) 2025 engaging over 40,000 participants across 133 cities
Herbalife, a premier health and wellness company, community and platform, has once again organized a series of activities in support of the National Breakfast Week (PESAN) 2025 campaign, initiated by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia since 2013. Herbalife supports this campaign through a series of educational activities aimed at sharing information about the importance of nutritious healthy breakfasts, as well as engaging in sports and healthy breakfast events together.
The PESAN 2025 activities initiated by Herbalife took place from February 15 to February 23, 2025, successfully gathering a total of 41,065 participants, including Herbalife members and the general public, across 133 cities throughout Indonesia. The highest participation came from Bungo, Bengkulu, Banda Aceh, Medan, Pekanbaru, Pangkalan Bun, Samarinda, Pontianak, and Makassar, with each city recording over 1,000 participants.
Oktrianto Wahyu Jatmiko, Director & General Manager of Herbalife Indonesia, stated that Herbalife continues to support PESAN 2025 with the primary goal of providing information and encouraging the community to adopt healthy behaviours and balanced nutritious breakfast to help realize a healthy, intelligent, and productive society. A nutritious breakfast can supply energy for both the body and brain to remain active in starting morning activities.
“As a leader in the health and wellness category in Indonesia, we are committed to improve the overall well-being of Indonesians and we believe that a foundation of a healthy society begins with the habits and choices we cultivate. And a healthy breakfast is a good start,” said Oktrianto.
The series of PESAN 2025 activities by Herbalife starts of with a morning exercise, followed by a healthy breakfast and nutrition training. Activities included Zumba, PoundFit, cardio dance and exercises, followed by nutrition education sessions focusing on the importance of healthy breakfasts and why incorporating protein is important. Participants were also provided with protein shakes and tea post workout to aid with their recovery.
Prof. Rimbawan, Nutrition Advisory Board (NAB) of Herbalife Indonesia, stated that a healthy breakfast can be one solution for the community to create a healthy and fit society. Various studies and health publications show that individuals with good nutrition will have adequate endurance and productivity levels. However, modern society's busyness often becomes an obstacle to having breakfast in the morning.
“80% of health comes from nutrition and 20% from a healthy active lifestyle,” he further added.
