Herbalife Advances Community Wellness as Official Nutrition Sponsor of the Ketchum-Downtown YMCA 2026 Stair Climb & Urban Hike
Fundraiser expands access to programs that support youth development, healthy living and stronger families
Herbalife, a premier health and wellness company, community and platform, served as the Official Nutrition Sponsor of the 33rd Annual YMCA Stair Climb and Urban Hike in downtown Los Angeles. The event brought thousands of people to the U.S. Bank Tower to support free and low-cost programs offered by the Ketchum-Downtown YMCA. This year marked Herbalife’s 13th consecutive year supporting the event and the YMCA’s work to improve the wellbeing of children, teens, families and seniors.
Herbalife employees participated alongside members of the community, climbing 1,664 steps across 75 stories inside the U.S. Bank Tower. Participants also took part in a self-guided Urban Hike through downtown Los Angeles, offering another way to get active while supporting the YMCA’s work in the community.
“Throughout the event, you see people cheering one another on every step of the way. From coworkers to strangers offering words of encouragement, this event reflects the very best of community,” said Pooja Jhobalia-Pelham, Director of Social Impact at Herbalife. “That spirit of supporting one another is what makes this event so meaningful. We are grateful to share the experience with our Herbalife community and to help the YMCA continue creating opportunities for people across the city we call home.”
Herbalife provided Citrus Lemon Protein Bar Deluxe and Herbalife24 Hydrate Sugar Free Electrolyte Drink Mix in Watermelon flavor to help participants refuel. Proceeds from the event benefited the Ketchum-Downtown YMCA’s free and low-cost programs for people living in under resourced communities. The YMCA invests funds from the event in summer camps, youth sports, preschool, teen leadership and family wellness initiatives.
Herbalife’s support for the Stair Climb and Urban Hike is one part of its ongoing commitment to Los Angeles. Through the Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF), the company’s philanthropic arm powered by Herbalife Independent Distributors and employees, Herbalife supports three local Casa Herbalife partners: A Place Called Home, Children’s Institute Inc. and Heart of Los Angeles. These organizations help provide nutritious meals, educational resources and supportive environments for children and families.
Herbalife’s community work also extends through its longstanding sponsorship of the LA Galaxy. Together, Herbalife and the LA Galaxy support the LA Galaxy Special Olympics Unified Team and local programs that increase access to sports, wellness and youth development opportunities across the region.
